Guess no one’s interested, eh?
He blinked a few times, simply looking upward at a combination of a radiant pair of golden locks and blue eyes. Though the sun’s light beamed down on them both, he was able to make out that it was a girl looking down at him with a gentle smile and a wave that mimicked his own. The thief felt relaxed enough to remain flat on the ground. But upon making out the other blonde’s features, he quickly jumped up from his spot.
"Oh, hey there!" Zidane beamed, waving once again at the girl before him. His warm smile widened into his trademark grin as he bowed chivalrously, chuckling all the while. "I’ve never seen you around before. My eyes must be goin’ bad if I didn’t notice such a pretty girl!"
Chuckling some more, he wiped any dirt off of his clothing and stood upright, his grin never leaving his facial features for even a moment. “Name’s Zidane. What’s yours?”
—♥: A small chuckle was given to the other ones compliment, still not entirely being used to it. Compliments were something the petite blonde appreciated, but was never good at excepting— she gave a smile nonetheless, bowing down briefly as a gesture of thankfulness.
"Ehe— I’m pretty sure your eyes are just fine. Thank you.”
Just now the blonde eyed the male, how the grin that he had on his features never faded from the second they had begin to talk, how he had bowed down. He didn’t seem like someone she should be wary of— he was pretty nice actually. It was a rarity to have someone like him just chat her up.
"Zidane — I’ve never heard of such a name, but it sounds cute. I hope you don’t mind it if I call you ZiZi then?”
At least she managed to ask first— giving nicknames to freshly met people was a habit of her. If it was good or bad always depended on the person— most of them didn’t mind it, others almost snapped at her for it. Asking if it was okay to call someone by a nickname was something she always forgot— they just plopped out of her mouth right after their introduction. Her smile remained on her thin lips, once more bowing down, stroking some of her blonde bangs that had fallen over her porcelain features aside as she did so.
"My name is Pearl— it’s nice to meet you~”
He knew that look. It was brief and almost unnoticeable to those who weren’t used to it. Fear. This unarmed human was scared of him. That was okay, sometimes the ones with fear were too scared to try and attack him. But sometimes they were just scared enough. Titan decided he would have to be careful if he wanted to remain unharmed. Because of the scared look she ‘d given him, he was genuinely surprised when she attempted to talk to him.
She’d even stepped closer to him? Maybe she wasn’t as scared as she had seemed..maybe even brave. Not many would come near him without some sort of weapon, yet this one had. Titan wanted to show that he wasn’t really scary and that, in fact, he wasn’t going to eat her. No, he’d eaten earlier and definitely wouldn’t eat a smaller being that hadn’t given him reason too. His head tilted at the sound of her voice, a gentle look blending with the curiosity in his expressive eyes. If she was so scared of titans, what was she doing here?
—♥: Upon seeing the Titans reaction her own head tilted as well. This was weird— didn’t those things live with the very only intention to kill humans? Why wasn’t this one out to just simply grab her and devour her alive, she wondered. Well— having a completely harmless one— or at least this was what it seemed to be, still was better than a Titan that wanted to kill her right away by the second it’s eyes had made contact with her own small figure. Even it’s look wasn’t intimidating at all— despite the fact it was still a monster she had to be cautious with, it looked kinda cute. Some other Titans probably would as well if they were not brutal monsters and had killed dozens of people in the past years.
"You’re not, are you?", she asked again, taking another step towards the creature, less cautious but more curious now.
It seemed like the creature was trying to show her that it wasn’t something she should be wary of— she wanted to show that she wasn’t someone dangerous as well. She was just an ordinary human, nothing someone should ever bother to worry about. This one didn’t seem to understand what she had said— so communication through words wasn’t something she should keep on trying, but she did anyways, outstretching both of her pale arms in a harmless gesture.
"I’m not going to hurt you, big guy— I’m Pearl. Do you have a name?”
What she did at the moment must’ve been crazy to see for other people— or especially the soldiers. Being a girl with nothing to defend herself, trying to speak with a Titan— humanities most feared enemy, but to be honest— she enjoyed the presence of this one. This Titan was a prove to that humanity still had a chance to survive.
"See, this is why Owl does this job and not me. I’m not good at explaining…" The jester shook its head. "This is very much what you’d call your dream. What you’re visiting is my world.” It sat back on its invisible seat and tilted its head in thought. “See, you people in the ‘real’ world have this really strange ability to cross dimensions when you sleep. Whenever you’re ‘dreaming’, you’re really just wandering around in here… hence why we here in the Night Dimension call you people ‘visitors’ instead of ‘dreamers’.”
"I’m admittedly not very good at this… I’m usually the one saving people from Owl’s lectures, not giving them myself…"
—♥: “Ah— now I got it!”, the blonde happily spat our, clasping both of her pale hands together, but now she began to think— cross dimensions? She never knew she— or any other human was able to do that, but knowing that really was … funny. So this was NiGHTS world.
"Don’t feel bad—”, the petite girl began, stroking some of her blonde locks aside, averting icy-orbs from her blue catlikes as she once more eyed the area before shooting the jester a cheerful smile.
"I don’t think you’re that bad at explaining— it’s more like that I’m really bad at understanding things quick~”

He paused and pulled down the cloth from his mouth. “Different?” He didn’t understand people. Really he didn’t. “I’m not different. I’m stronger than most but everyone has a reason to fight the titans. I’m no exception.” But perhaps the thing that separated him from most was his past. He knew what it was like to live a life without purpose. To just live for the sake of living. To do anything you could to get one more day. He knew how to live a life like that. So a life with a purpose was one he knew how to use and he did. Especially if it was for another person.
"You’re an idiot if you’re not afraid of the titans. Everyone is. But you take that fear and you lock it away. Never forget that they’re bigger and stronger than you. In any precise movement they could kill you. Rip you limb from limb. You’re nothing to them and you should never forget it. But you can’t let that stop you. Push it down. Make that fear give you strength. This is our world that they have stripped from us. Make those stupid brutes pay for it. Take it back one ass hole at a time. If you let your fear consume you… you’re worthless to the legion. But if you overcome it… you’ll be the strongest person here."
—♥: She was surprised by his words— listening to them with interest clearly mirrored in her eyes. Those few words he had said— they started to change her mind, to see things with different eyes now. She never considered to use her fears in order to become stronger. She was never able to lock away those fears— she more likely always let them take over, a reason why she was on the verge of death more than most soldiers ever were. He was right— right with everything he had said, causing the blonde to let a smile curl over thin lips.
"And that’s why I think you’re different, Levi.", she began, averting her icy-orbs from him and continuing her cleaning on the windows.
"Not everyone can think this way— we’re all just soldiers. Fighting for our lives. We have to live with the consequences of our doing, but you— you think different. You are different from most of us, though we all seem to be the same.”
A sigh, then she looked back at him.
"I’m sorry if my words have no big meaning for you— it’s just my way of thinking but—”
She cut herself off to take a deep breath, shooting the Corporal a soft smile. Whatever was going on in his mind, she had the deep need to say those words— it felt good.
"Your words just helped me see things different. I was too scared to think properly whenever I saw a Titan— I was a burden to most of them, but I wanted to fight against them as well, to be one of those who might be able to help humanity. Your words … were a big help.
Titan’s brown eyes watched the human carefully, it’s unblinking gaze full of curiosity..and just a hint of worry. There always that worry, despite being a giant, he knew the smaller beings were fully capable of killing him if they really wanted to. So he remained still, preparing himself to fight if he had to.
—♥: Icy-hues blinked a couple of times, her petite body instinctively moving backwards one step, blonde bangs shifting in the movement. That was …— that was a Titan right? From one second to another she felt the fear inside her rising, her heart pounding uncontrollably against her chest, porcelain skin becoming even paler than it already was. The one thing that kept the girl away from running was the fact that this Titan didn’t seem to move closer. It just stood there— it’s brown hues gazing down on her as if she was the danger for it, though it was the other way around for the blonde haired girl.
The Titan was the danger— it could just grab her and eat her alive with no hesitation, she couldn’t even defend herself from a normal person— but it didn’t. That Titan didn’t move. It just stood there, curious to what the girl would do. Maybe this one wasn’t that bad, she thought, though the inner fear this Titan could be tricking her still remained drilled in her mind. Nonetheless, she took the first steps closer again, eyes glued on the giant creature with caution.
"A-Are you going to hurt me …?"
The girl was not returning his kiss, and he was thinking that he didn’t exactly agree with his move. He drew back a little, laughing softly to try to mask up his embarrassment. “Well, if that’s alright with you of course,” Byakuran added rather belatedly.
Byakuran thought she looks sort of dumbfounded, her eyes wide open and staring at him like that, as if she was in a stupor. It was rather funny.
"Ah~ Sorry about that," He said cheerily, trying not to be awkward, though was voice was strained. "Was that your first kiss?" He chuckled, patting the girl’s cheek lightly before moving away. He was beginning to think he’d made the wrong move by kissing the girl. Now things were going to get tense between them.
—♥: Now that Byakuran moved away, the petite blonde could finally get herself to think properly again. He stole her first kiss, yes— and she really acted dumb, but it didn’t feel wrong. It wasn’t wrong, and she didn’t wanted to make Byakuran feel he did the wrong move— not at all. Her gaze met the ground, shyly, blonde bangs falling over porcelain features as she did so.
"No— please don’t apologize…”, she began, though her voice trailed off, not sure what to say or do— again. As much as she liked it, kinda enjoyed it for some weird and unexplainable reasons— she couldn’t come up with a plausible reason on why he did so. She sighed, now daring to look up at him again— just as he mentioned the stolen first kiss. Pale cheeks were flushed by that oh so familiar pink color, her petite body jolting up a bit.
"W-Well, yeah it was— b-but it’s okay, really!”
Gosh— he made her crazy. He always found ways to tease her, to make her heart pound like crazy, to make her blush with almost everything he said. She sighed toneless, relaxing her flexed muscle as her gaze, once again, met with the ground.
"I don’t mind you staying here at all— it’s up to you. I won’t stop you if you want to go, and I won’t stop you if you want to stay here, Byakuran.”
